District 5 Field Representatives

Jocelyn Maddux, District Director

Jocelyn Maddux was born in Santa Rosa, California and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended college at the University of Oregon and earned a B.A. degree in Journalism and Communication. After college Jocelyn moved to Lake Tahoe where she worked at Squaw Valley Resort for a few winters and eventually returned to the Bay Area to pursue a career in sales, marketing and business development for Fortune 500 media companies, riding the internet wave both up…and down. In 2002, she hung up her sales & marketing hat and went back to school where she earned a Juris Doctorate in Law and then worked in Family Law and general litigation in small and large firms in the Bay Area.

In 2010, Jocelyn moved to the Auburn area of Placer County to help with the family winery business and do marketing consulting and volunteer work for the local community. She quickly became a part of the local food & wine scene, helped re-launch a new version of the Placer County Welcome Guide and was a member of the Local Organizing Committee for the Amgen Tour of California when it came to Auburn in 2011. Jocelyn is a 2012 Alumnae of Leadership Auburn, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Placer County Visitor’s Bureau and continues to volunteer on marketing projects for the local food, wine & tourism industry.  Jocelyn has a love of the land, a commitment to local community and public service and a passion for local agriculture that she carries on through her work with Supervisor Montgomery and the Auburn community.

Lindsay Romack District 5 Field Representative

Lindsay Romack, Tahoe Field Representative

Lindsay Romack grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before heading east for college where she earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism from Boston University. After a brief stop in San Diego, she moved to North Lake Tahoe in 2004. Like many, she initially thought Tahoe would be just a short-term locale, but fell in love with the incredible area and hasn’t left since. For 12 years, she was a part of 101.5 Truckee Tahoe Radio, first as a mid-day host and then eventually operations manager and Morning Show Host. Lindsay “with an A” loved waking up with the people of Tahoe for nearly a decade starting in 2007. She is a 2016 graduate of the North Tahoe Truckee Leadership Program and also served on the Squaw Valley Municipal Advisory Council for seven years- three of which she was chairwoman.

Lindsay was excited to join “Team Montgomery” in January of 2017 and to be able to serve her community in a new way. She encourages active participation from the community to help ensure North Lake Tahoe continues to be a wonderful place to live, work, and recreate.  When not working, Lindsay can most often be found enjoying the amazing outdoor playground of North Lake Tahoe- whether it’s snowboarding in the winter or hiking in the summer.
